Ever see someone make a handmade sewing gift, and ask yourself, “How did they do that?” or better yet, “Can I do that?”
Our hands seem magical for what they can accomplish, and with the right instructor, you can learn the techniques and skills to unlock that magic through Patch N’ Thimble. Patch n’ Thimble is a class that will guide you in transforming old or used fabrics into creative styles.

Soon you’ll be asking yourself, why buy more when you can repair? How often have you found the perfect pair of jeans that fit you just right, but suddenly they’re too worn or have too many holes to be worn? Not anymore. You’ll jump those obstacles with your new sewing ability. And no one will have the pants you have, displaying your unique self and your talent.
Sewing has also been described both as an ancient creative expression, but also as a meditative practice. That’s because of the calming focus sewing provides you. He’ll share his expertise he learned about techniques and methods he learned horning his craft over the years. He’ll inspire you to see the crafty adventures a pile of old or used clothing or fabric can have We are sure your confidence will grow, and you’ll be filled with the desire and knowledge to make your own wardrobe better.
The course requires old or used clothing, threads and needles for hand sewing, and an open invitation to unlock a skill within yourself. The program runs twice a week for four weeks with each course lasting an hour and half. The total cost of the course is $120 per student. We limit the class to 8 to 10 students, so the instructor can provide individualized attention and create an intimate setting so creative risks can be taken.
