If you are 60 and better, we have a myriad of opportunities for you to be living well in our community. The way in which we live continues to evolve, we are living longer and our health and wellness are more important than ever. Living well for as long as we can is the key to a rich, full and active life. Wellness and health are viewed as a complete state of physical, social and emotional well-being. This holistic philosophy is infused into all 'Center' programs, activities and services. The 'Center' offers everything from tai chi, yoga, nutrition, brainercise, swimming, music appreciation, painting to lectures, discussion groups, trips and social events to activate your body and soul.
Sunday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, with some additional programs and events at other times.
Our chef prepares a well-balanced, tasty and nutritious lunch daily which is served “restaurant style” between 12 noon and 1pm. Seating begins at 11:45am.
In-person registration is necessary, but there is no membership fee. All programs and special events are listed in a monthly calendar that is mailed to all members.
We are able to offer these programs and services free of charge, through generous support from the NYC DEPARTMENT FOR THE AGING, but additional contributions are welcome.
