After more than a year away, we are hosting our first community Shabbat dinner on June 11, and you’re invited! All are welcome, whether your family gathers weekly or this will be your first Shabbat dinner.
Plant-based/vegan dinner will be individually wrapped from the Riverdale Kosher Marketplace.
Socially distant picnic seating. Bring your own picnic blanket.
Suggested Donation: $5/person or $20/family

• Vegetable-stuffed portobello mushroom with grilled asparagus and roasted sweet potatoes
• Quinoa-stuffed pepper topped with marinara, with corn, cauliflower, and yellow rice with mixed vegetables
• Moroccan vegetable stew with basmati rice and garlic string beans
• Child-friendly chik’un nuggets
• Child-friendly pasta bolognese
This special Shabbat dinner is hosted by Shamayim Jewish Animal Advocacy, VegFund, PJ Library, the Y's Norman E. Alexander Center for Jewish Life, Camp Twelve Trails, and Bubbie's Kitchen.
