Partners In Caring

UJA-Federation of New York’s Partners in Caring (PIC) initiative is a remarkable resource, extending social work services to synagogues in the Washington Heights area including Fort Tryon Jewish Center, Hebrew Tabernacle, Mt. Sinai Jewish Center, Beth Am, The People's Temple, Shenk Shul, Chabad of Washington Heights, The Beis, and the Washington Heights Congregation. The goal of PIC is to provide support to the Jewish community through the portals of synagogues. Towards this end, PIC hopes to reinforce the caring potential of synagogues as a whole to be sources of support, compassion and connectivity for congregants who may experience unusually stressful times in their lives and can benefit from the professional services of our agency system.
