Solnechniy Krug at the Y

Solnechniy Krug at the Y  is a brand-new program in YM&YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood, for Russian-speaking families who would like to keep Russian language together with old family customs and traditions warm in the hearts of their young offsprings. We are organizing experiential classes for the children taught by experienced and enthusiastic Russian-speaking professionals, as well as hosting a range of events for the parents.

Solnechniy Krug at the Y is back thanks to the generous support of GENESIS Philanthropy Group and guidance of The Jewish Education Project! We will focus on exploring the Jewish Art Theme of the timeless artists such as Amedeo Modigliani, Isaac Levitan, Leonid Pasternak, and come back to our beloved Marc Chagall, Mark Rothko, El Lissitzky and others whose works we began to discover during our last spring’s program.
