Solnechniy Krug at the Y

Solnechniy Krug at the Y  is a brand-new program in YM&YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood, for Russian-speaking families who would like to keep Russian language together with old family customs and traditions warm in the hearts of their young offsprings. We are organizing experiential classes for the children taught by experienced and enthusiastic Russian-speaking professionals, as well as hosting a range of events for the parents.

LITTLE AVANT-GARDES: A SIX WEEK EXPLORATION of ART, POETRY, and MUSIC, TAUGHT in RUSSIAN!

We will journey through the work of wonderful artists during our six week programs, such as Marc Chagall and Mark Rothko, among other timeless contributors to Avant-Garde art movement of late 19th-20th centuries. Our classes will include age-appropriate experiential art, poetry, and music.
